Do I need a credit card to hire a car?
It isn’t essential. We usually work with a credit card in the driver’s name, but you can also hire without one by paying by debit card or cash: in that case a temporary security hold is placed, which we release when you return the car undamaged and with no incidents. We’ll confirm the details when you book.
What documents do I need to hire a car in Calahonda?
You can hire from the age of 18; young or new drivers have the Novice Driver Plus added when choosing their cover. At collection, present your original valid ID or passport and a valid driving licence. If you’re a non-EU citizen you’ll also need your international driving permit alongside your original licence. Can I add a second driver?
Yes, you can add additional drivers to your hire agreement. The additional driver must meet the same age and documentation requirements as the main driver and present their original documents at collection. Ask us about the conditions when you make your booking.
Can I change the dates or cancel my booking?
No problem. You can cancel or modify your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before collection. If you need to make last-minute changes on the day, WhatsApp us or give us a call and we’ll find a solution with you. We understand that plans change and we’ll adapt accordingly.
Do you have child seats or booster seats?
Yes, as a paid extra priced by the number of days. We have approved Group 0, 1 and 2 child seats and booster seats. Just let us know when you book so it’s fitted and ready when you collect the car. The safety of little ones is something we never cut corners on.
Do I have to leave a deposit or pay an excess?
No: if you pay by credit card you don’t leave a deposit. With another payment method we may place a temporary security hold, lifted when you return the car undamaged and with no incidents. And with Premium Cover you get fully comprehensive cover with zero excess.
